Most questions are answered below. If yours is not, email womenworkoutsapp@gmail.com — a real person reads it, usually within a couple of working days.

Subscriptions and purchases

How do I restore a subscription on a new phone?

Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with, open Women Workouts, go to Settings → Restore purchases. Your entitlement is tied to the store account, not to the device or to an in-app account.

If it still does not appear, check that you are signed into the right store account — on iOS this is separate from your iCloud email in some setups.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel through the store, not the app:

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Women Workouts → Cancel subscription.
  • Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Women Workouts → Cancel.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. You keep premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.

How do I request a refund?

We cannot issue refunds ourselves — Apple and Google handle all payments. Use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or Google Play support for Android. See the refunds section of our terms.

I was charged after cancelling.

Cancellation has to happen at least 24 hours before the period ends, otherwise the renewal has already been queued by the store. Check the cancellation confirmation date in your store account, then request a refund through the store using the links above.

Using the app

My workout reminders are not arriving.

Work through these in order:

  1. Check notification permission is granted for Women Workouts in your device settings.
  2. Check Do Not Disturb or Focus is not active at the reminder time.
  3. On Android, exclude the app from battery optimisation — aggressive power saving on some manufacturers' phones stops scheduled notifications.
  4. Reopen the app once. Reminders are scheduled locally and re-register when the app runs.
Can I change my goal or focus area after setup?

Yes, at any time. Open your profile and update your goal, focus areas, weekly target or body data. The plan adjusts from there — you do not need to start over.

Why is my calorie target different from another app's?

Calorie targets are estimates derived from standard formulas using the height, weight, age and activity level you entered. Different apps use different formulas and different activity multipliers. Treat any of them as a starting point, not a prescription, and see the medical disclaimer.

Do I need equipment?

No. Every workout is designed for home and needs nothing but floor space. A mat makes floor work more comfortable but is not required.

Which languages are supported?

English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Danish, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The app follows your device language where it is supported, and falls back to English otherwise.

Account and data

I reinstalled the app and my history is gone. Can you restore it?

Unfortunately not. Workout history, weight entries and body measurements are stored only in the app's database on your own device and are never uploaded to us, so there is no server-side copy to restore from. This is deliberate — it is also why we cannot read your body data. See the privacy policy.

If you are switching phones, a full device-to-device transfer or an encrypted iCloud/Google device backup will usually carry the app's data across. An app reinstall alone will not.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. Full instructions, including what happens to an active subscription, are on the account deletion page.

What data do you actually collect?

Your email address if you create an account, plus anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. Body and workout data stays on your device. The privacy policy breaks it down field by field, including every third-party service involved.

I forgot my password.

Use the "forgot password" option on the sign-in screen to receive a reset email. If you originally signed in with Google or Apple, there is no separate password — use the same button you used to sign up.

Still stuck?

Email womenworkoutsapp@gmail.com, or use the feedback option inside the app, which attaches your app version and device model automatically.

To get a useful answer faster, include:

  • Your device and OS version (for example, iPhone 14, iOS 18.2).
  • The app version, shown at the bottom of the settings screen.
  • What you expected to happen and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot, if the problem is visible.

Health questions belong with a doctor. We can help with the app, but we cannot advise on whether a workout is safe for your body or condition. Please see the medical disclaimer.
